This amp delivers everything I expected from Marshall – crunch, distortion, and cleanliness are all top-notch. The four channels give me plenty of options, and the built-in FX are actually usable. The 12" speaker projects well. For the price, it's outstanding.
The amp has a solid Marshall sound with good gain and volume. The channels are versatile, and the clean channel is particularly nice. The digital FX, though, could be better – the reverb is okay, but the delays are a bit dated. Still, it's a great value.
I've been using this for my local gigs, and it powers through without any issues. The 50W is plenty for medium-sized venues, and the footswitch is a huge plus. The sound is rich and full. I'm impressed with the build quality too.
I bought this for my home studio, and it works well for practice and recording. The tones are versatile, and I like the built-in tuner. The only issue is that it gets pretty heavy for a 50W amp, but that's typical for Marshalls.
For under $100, this amp is a steal. It has that iconic Marshall sound, and the 12" speaker makes it sound like a much bigger amp. The effects are a nice addition, and the footswitch included is a bonus. I highly recommend it.
The amp sounds good for classic rock and blues, but it lacks the high-gain saturation that metal players need. The distortion channel gets to a medium crunch but not more. If you're into lighter genres, it's fine, but I'm a bit disappointed.
I've owned several Marshalls, and this one is reliable. It handles pedals well, and the 4 channels give plenty of variety. The digital FX are fun to experiment with. It's not a perfect amp, but it's very good for the price.
The clean channel is sparkling, the crunch is punchy, and the overdrive is creamy. The effects are surprisingly decent, and the footswitch lets you switch channels easily. This is my go-to practice amp now.
The sound is excellent, and the amp has a professional look. However, it's quite heavy to move around, and carrying it to rehearsals is a workout. If you're stationary, it's perfect. But if you're always on the go, consider something lighter.
